What does this mean in practice?
The withdrawal button must:
- be easy to access (e.g. in the customer account or on a central page)
- be clearly labeled (e.g. "Withdraw from contract")
- allow an immediate electronic declaration of withdrawal
- provide the customer with a confirmation of the withdrawal
This regulation applies to all merchants who conclude distance contracts with consumers.
