Now that you have submitted your apps, when can you see them in the stores?
Generally speaking, it can take 1-3 business days for your app to be released in the App Store and Google Play Store. Depending on the workload at Apple and Google, this process could take more or less time.
The app status
After you clicked Upload or Update on your iOS and Android apps, you have finished your part to submit the apps. Your friendly App Team will now take care of the rest.
If you are interested in keeping track of your app status, here are the steps:
- Log in to your Shopgate Admin page.
- Go to Integration > Going Live, and find Public App.
- Your app status will show here.
The workflow
The workflow to publish your apps is described in the following app statuses:

Your apps will be compiled and a Shopgate app manager will be notified. |

Your app manager will complete the submission process and submit your apps separately to the App Store and Google Play Store. |

Apple and Google are reviewing your app content. |

In App Store |
Your apps are public now! Anyone with a smartphone or tablet can download them. |
During the first three stages, you will see a Cancel button below your app status. By clicking on it, you can send us a request to cancel the current process.
After your apps have been published in the stores, you will see an Update button instead. Once you click the button to update your apps, the workflow will start again.
