Setup
Entering the API key
To make sure the systems can communicate, the Shipcloud API key must be stored at Shopgate. You can find the API key in your Shipcloud backend by clicking your account at the top right and going to API key. Shipcloud has a live key and a sandbox key. For testing, please only use the sandbox API key.
To enter the API key at Shopgate, go to Settings › Ship-from-Store in the admin. In the "Logistics Provider" section, you can add Shipcloud via "Add Provider".
Enter a code and the API key and assign a name (e.g. "Shipcloud-Live", "Shipcloud-Sandbox").
Configuring carriers
To assign Shipcloud to different shipping methods, go to Settings › Ship-from-Store and click "Open shipping settings" in the "Shipping" section. This is where the shipping methods are configured. Under "Carriers", you can assign a "Logistics Provider" to each carrier:
Testing
To test the generation of shipping labels with a sandbox API key, you need to set your Shipcloud account to sandbox mode. You can find this option at the very top of your Shipcloud account:
Returns
Printing return labels
In the Shopgate admin, under Settings › Fulfillment in the "Fulfillment Handling" section, you can turn on the option "Automatic Return Label Creation Enabled". From then on, a return label is also created whenever a shipping label is created for Ship from Store orders. By default, the address stored in Shipcloud is used.
Return-In-Store
If you want returns of Ship from Store orders to be sent back to the stores, go to Settings › Fulfillment and, in the "Fulfillment Handling" section, change the option "Return Label To-Address" from "Default Return Address" to "Store Location". For DHL, please note that a Receiver ID must be stored for each store. You enter it under Settings › Locations in the respective location, in the "Ship-from-Store Settings" section.
