How do I start a product import manually?

To keep your product inventory up to date at all times, an automatic import runs every day. If you want to update products or categories right away, you can start a manual import. Simply follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your Shopgate admin.
2. Click Settings › Shop Interface.
3. Select an existing interface and click the Actions button. Then select Start import.
4. That's it! This triggers the import of your products, categories and other services (depending on your shop system and its settings). The progress bar you see shows the progress of your update.

Depending on the number of your products, the import can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. You can check the status at any time. If no status is shown, no import is currently running or it has already finished.
