Setting up SEPAone

Shopgate supports SEPAone as a payment service provider.

By setting up your SEPAone account at Shopgate, you will be able to accept the following types of payment from the available marketplace:

  Direct debit

UK No
Germany Yes
Austria No
Switzerland No
Poland No
France No

1. Getting started

1.1 Registering a SEPAone account

If you don't already have an account at SEPAone, please send a request via this contact form https://www.sepaone.com/dashboard#contact or send an email to hello@sepaone.com

 

1.2 Collecting necessary information

To connect your SEPAone account at Shopgate, you will need the following credentials and configuration details. Please collect these before you proceed.

Account Info Description
Authorization Token This is a secure token to create an API connection between your SEPAone backend and the Shopgate technology. This token can be found in your SEPAone account.

 

1.3 Adding "pre-notification period"

IMPORTANT: This is required by SEPAone.

SEPAone has shortened their direct debit "pre-notification period" to one day. Please add this info in your Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Setting up SEPAone at Shopgate

To set up SEPAone as your direct debit payment method, please complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to your Shopgate Admin page.
  2. Click on Settings from the menu bar, then select Payment.
  3. In section Add payment method, start typing SEPAone and select it when it appears.
  4. Enter your SEPAone account information in the pop-up window. Copy the Webhook URL to enter in your SEPAone account. Your account information will be validated automatically.

  5. Set up additional charges if needed.
  6. Click Save. SEPAone is now successfully set up as your direct debit payment.

 

3. Finding the required information

To find the information required above, please log on to your SEPAone account. On your SEPAone dashboard, click on Settings on the top right.

Authorization Token Look for the API Token under "Your settings" 
Webhook URL This URL is necessary to get payment updates for your mobile orders. To set up this URL, scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and look for Webhooks:
  1. Enter the URL in the URL field. This URL is provided in your Shopgate account, explained in Chapter 2.
  2. Enable "Live mode" and click "Create Webhook Subscription"
  3. You should now see the webhook URL created.
