In this article, you will find out how to apply a discount after the customer has already placed the order.
To apply a discount, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Shopgate Admin area with your login details.
- From Orders page, search for the order you need to apply a discount to, and click .
On the Order Details page, click .
- A pop-up will appear. Choose Cancel part of order. Click the Cancel drop-down and choose Manual. Enter the discount amount. Click Save.
- That's it! Now you have successfully applied a discount to an order.
Note that, Shopgate doesn't differentiate between a cancelation and a discount. You can only apply one discount or cancelation to each order. If you have already canceled part of an order, you will not be able to apply a discount to the same order.
