If the shipping service you use will charge the recipient a service fee for each package delivered, please enter it here. Please note that this fee will be collected by the delivery personnel and will NOT be reflected on the order confirmation.

Setting up "cash on delivery" at Shopgate
- Log in to your Shopgate Admin page.
- Click Settings from the menu bar, then select Payment.
- Find the "Add payment method" section, start typing "cash on delivery", and select cash on delivery under "Payment method."
- In the pop-up window, configure the settings and click Save.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where should I enter the postal service charges "shipping service fee" or "additional charges"?
This depends on how you pay your postman.
If your contract with the postal service requires that you pay the service charges separately, you should enter the charge-per-order in "additional charges."
If your postman charges your customers a service fee upon delivering a package, please enter this fee in "Shipping service fee."
In both cases, your customer will need to pay for the postal service charge. The only difference is that the shipping service fee will NOT be reflected on the order confirmation.
